Jessica was recently awarded the Employee of the Year Award for the Monroe Area. She is the house monitor at the Burr Oak location. She has worked for PRS since August 2009 and does a phenomenal job. She devotes a lot of her personal time to the persons served.
Denise & Adrian Balinski, Guardian (Milford)
Nicole Stanley, Employee (Addison). Nicole Stanley, Addison, was the 2010 Eastern Region Employee of the Year. Nicole has stood out from the day she started with us. Nicole came to us to learn what she would need to do to be able to care for her mother. Nicole is an amazing role model. No matter what she may be going through you will not see it. When she walks in this door everyone, including staff, get excited because you never know what goofy thing she is going to do next. The persons we serve are her number one priority. She has worked many hours when needed and never had a negative word to say.
When we lost one of our residents Nicole was by my side helping the entire time. We drew strength from each other to keep going. From that Nicole and I have started a letter writing campaign to allow our individuals to pass with dignity. Nicole takes bad situations and learns from them. Even though there is always much to be done if you walk in on one of Nicole’s shifts you can hear the laughter and just feel the light heartedness in the air. Every person served follows Nicole and helps with tasks that they formerly refused to do. Nicole came in not knowing what to do next and has become a strong person that leads each of her shifts by example. I am very happy that she chose to walk through Addison’s doors.
